Kevin Darnell Hart, popularly known as Kevin Hart, is an American stand-up comedian, actor and producer. Kevin began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England. In 2001, Kevin culminated in his first real break when he was cast by Judd Apatow for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared. It lasted only one season, though Kevin soon landed other roles in films including Paper Soldiers (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), In the Mix (2005) and also Little Fockers (2010).

Kevin’s comedic reputation continued to grow with the release of his first stand-up album I’m a Grown Little Man (2008). He performed in the films Think Like a Man (2012), Grudge Match (2013), Ride Along (2014), Ride Along 2 (2016), About Last Night (2014), Get Hard (2015), Central Intelligence CI (2016), The Secret Life of Pets (2016), Captain Underpants – The First Epic Movie (2017), Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and also the Night School (2018).

Hart also released 4 more comedy albums which included Seriously Funny in 2010, Laugh at My Pain in 2011, Let Me Explain in 2013 and lastly What Now? in 2016. Time Magazine named Kevin one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the annual Time 100 list in 2015. Kevin starred as himself in the lead role of Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Family

Kevin was raised in a single-parent household by his mother Nancy Hart. His mother was a systems analyst for the Office of Student Registration and Financial Services at the University of Pennsylvania. Kevin has one older brother called Robert and his father, Henry Witherspoon, was a cocaine addict who was in and out of jail throughout most of Hart’s childhood and Hart used humor as a way to cope with his troubled family life.

Eniko Parrish

Kevin and Eniko Parrish have been married since 2014 and the relationship of the two has had its share of public hardships. The pair have stayed together through thick and thin, from a cheating scandal to Kevin’s 2019 car accident, which was touched on in Hart’s Netflix documentary series, Don’t Fuck This Up. The couple announced on Instagram, recently, that they are expecting their second child together.
