Prune Juice

Prunes are high in insoluble fiber as well as abundant amount of sorbitol, which helps to draw water into the stools making it soft and smooth hence making it easy to pass stool. Prune is safe for children and also for pregnant women.

To use prunes to treat this condition, soak dried prunes in water until they become moist. Blend them and add water. Drink 1-2 cups daily to get relief.

Flax Seeds

Flax Seeds are rich in dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids thus making them to be very effective in helping to eliminate stool. To use flax seeds grind them into powder for easier absorption.

Olive oil

Using Olive oil is a safe yet effective way of allowing stool to move thus relieving constipation. The fats in the oil help to smoothen the insides of the bowel making it easy to pass stool and also allows the stool to hold more water thus making it soft.

Lime Juice

Lime juice is very effective in cleansing the colon thus removes any hardened stool from the colon.

To use lime to treat the condition, add some lime juice to a glass of warm water and add a pinch of salt. Its advisable to take this mixture on an empty stomach in the morning.
